Why We Built This
The big registry sites like The Knot do one thing well: they show live items from the national chains they have feed deals with. Everything else becomes a link that says “view registry.” Guests click out, land on a store site, and have no idea what is left or what the couple actually wanted.
For a Jewish wedding, that is most of the registry. The towels are on Amazon, but the bencher set is at Eichlers, the challah board is at Waterdale, and the seder plate is at a local Judaica shop that no registry site has ever heard of. The stores that make a Jewish home were the ones getting reduced to a link.
So we started from the other end. If we can read a store’s registry, we sync it properly: photos, prices, and what is still needed, exactly like a national chain. Jewish stores included, and first in line.

Eichlers, Waterdale Collection and On The Table sync item by item, the same way Amazon does. We keep adding stores as couples ask for them.
Nothing bought twice
Purchases at the store drop off the list on their own, and a guest who bought something in person can say so in one tap. You can undo any of it.
Stores That Sync Automatically
Register at any of these and your items appear on your page on their own. Click a store to start a registry there.
Any other store still works. Paste the link and it shows up as a store card for guests to visit. You can also add plain text for things that are not a store at all, like Zelle or check details.
Shopify and MyRegistry too. Plenty of Jewish stores run their registry through one of those, and both sync here, which quietly covers a long list of shops beyond the ones above.

Create your registry at each store as you normally would. Nothing about that changes.

The page is linked from your invitation, and you get a clean address to paste into a group chat or a wedding card.

Registry Questions
Which stores sync automatically?
Amazon, Bloomingdale’s, Crate & Barrel, Eichlers, On The Table and Waterdale Collection sync item by item today. Stores running their registry through Shopify’s registry app or MyRegistry sync too, which covers many more shops. Any other store can still be added as a link.
How is this different from The Knot or Zola?
Those sites show live items only for the national chains they have feed deals with, and everything else becomes a plain link. We sync the stores Jewish couples actually register at, including Judaica stores like Eichlers and Waterdale, so guests see the real items, prices and how many are still needed.
Can I use a Jewish store like Eichlers or Waterdale?
Yes. Eichlers and Waterdale Collection sync automatically, the same way Amazon does. If you registered at a Jewish store we do not sync yet, email support@simchamaker.com with a link to a registry there and we will look at adding it.
Does it stop guests buying the same gift twice?
Yes. Items bought at the store drop off the list on their own when the registry updates, and a guest who bought a gift in person can mark it in one tap. The couple can undo any of it.
Do my guests need an account?
No. The registry page is a public link with no login, no app and nothing to install. You can share it from your invitation or paste it into a group chat.
Does the gift registry cost extra?
No. It is included with your event. Designing is free and you pay only when you send invitations.
